He said that the establishment of the Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics Regional and International Communication Institute is not only a concrete measure to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee and build a more effective international communication system, but also an inherent requirement for implementing the fundamental task of cultivating morality and cultivating people and building a regional and national independent knowledge system. The decision pointed out that the Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics Regional Country and International Communication Institute was established based on the School of Foreign Languages, and will integrate the school's foreign language, law, economy, Marxist theory research and communication, as well as the characteristic and advantageous discipline resources of the "Three Aviation" and are committed to academic research, talent training and social services in the field of regional country and international communication.

At the establishment ceremony, He Chengzhou, Wang Bo, Professor Velvidakis, Luo Lin and Liu Xizhong, director of the Greek "Center for Mutual Learning of China-Greece Civilizations", delivered speeches at the conference respectively.

He Chengzhou briefly summarized the three major characteristics of China Southern Airlines Regional Country and International Communication Research Institute, namely "Three Airlines Characteristics", "Foreign Language Characteristics" and "European Research Characteristics", and put forward three suggestions on making friends with scholars in relevant foreign fields, carrying out project-based cooperation, and participating in relevant work of relevant international academic institutions.

Wang Bo introduced the discipline characteristics and language settings of the School of Foreign Languages, National University of Defense Technology. Liu Xizhong said that the establishment of the Regional Country and International Communication Institute is another grand event in the field of social sciences since the establishment of the Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics Federation of Philosophy and Social Sciences. He pointed out that the establishment of the institute was timely, not only connected with the country's major strategic needs, but also highlighted the school-based characteristics and reflected the strong awareness of China Southern Airlines' interdisciplinary talent training and international development. Subsequently, a roundtable meeting was held with the theme of "Research on Regional Country and International Communication for Chinese Modernization", which was chaired by Jiang Lifu, Vice Dean of the School of Foreign Languages ​​of our school.

Luo Lin reviewed the relevant historical data of regional and country research at home and abroad, providing ideas for the specific development path and development direction of the institute.

Chen Ligang made suggestions on the subsequent construction and development of the institute based on three aspects: the significance of the establishment of the institute, the research direction and the construction connotation.

Wang Qilong put forward expectations for the future development of the institute around the three aspects of talent training as the core, scientific research as the starting point, and social service as the responsibility.

Wang Bo shared relevant experiences and practices on the construction of degree sites, talent training, platform construction, international cooperation and cultural exchanges.

He Chengzhou shared his views on the application of doctoral programs, the development of characteristic advantages, the selection of project guidelines, and the future ideas of European research.

Qiu Yuanyuan introduced the relevant explorations and practices of Jiangsu Radio and Television Corporation in the field of international communication and individuals in regional and country research, and looked forward to carrying out more cooperation with the institute in the future.

Yu Guangwu pointed out the importance of language in regional and country research and briefly introduced the language and national conditions manuals of countries along the Belt and Road that he participated in the production.

Wang Guanglu introduced the characteristics of regional country research and hoped that the institute would explore the cutting-edge areas of regional international research, promote the construction of China's regional country knowledge system, and strive to form a new path for the cross-integration of multidisciplinary research.

Liu Xizhong put forward suggestions on the construction of regional countries and international communication research institutes from ten aspects: precision strategic positioning, entity research institutions, specialization of research fields, collaborative research methods, networking of research teams, practical research methods, dataization of research resources, modernization of management models, equalization of results evaluation, and branding of think tank results. At the same time, we also hope that China Southern Airlines will further deepen cooperation with the Provincial Federation of Social Sciences in project application, international conferences, etc.

She pointed out that the establishment of the Regional Country and International Communication Institute provides new ways, new perspectives and new working methods to enhance China Southern Airlines' international communication influence. It is hoped that all staff of the Institute will forge ahead with a spirit of nailing down nails.
