From June 10 to 12, the ministerial meeting of the coordinator for the implementation of the results of the China-Africa Cooperation Forum was held in Changsha, China. Taking this meeting as an opportunity, China and Africa will implement the consensus of leaders of both sides, set a benchmark for high-quality joint construction of the "Belt and Road", create a model for implementing the global development initiative, work together in the wave of global development, and jointly write a new chapter in the construction of a community with a shared future between China and Africa.

China is the largest developing country in the world, and Africa is the continent with the most concentrated developing countries. China and Africa have similar historical memories, bear common historical responsibilities, and nurture sincere friendships of good friends, good brothers and good partners. In 2000, the China-Africa Cooperation Forum came into being. After a quarter of a century, it has become a comprehensive cooperation platform covering various fields such as politics, economy, humanities, and security, promoting China-Africa friendly and pragmatic cooperation to achieve leapfrog development.

Since entering the new era, President Xi Jinping has visited Africa five times, put forward the policy concept of true friendship and sincerity towards Africa, the correct view of justice and interests, and the spirit of China-Africa friendly cooperation, pressing the accelerated key for the development of China-Africa relations, elevating China's bilateral relations with all African countries to the level of strategic relations, and elevating the overall positioning of China-Africa relations to an all-weather China-Africa community with a shared future in the new era, leading the comprehensive quality and upgrading of China-Africa cooperation, and promoting China-Africa relations to the best period in history.

Development is the "golden key" to solve all problems, and seeking development and cooperation is the common pursuit of both China and Africa. The China-Africa Cooperation Forum has always adhered to the principle of consultation, joint construction and sharing, closely focused on the development needs of African countries, continuously upgraded the forms of cooperation, innovated the content of cooperation, and expanded the scope of cooperation. China and Africa will organically connect the "Belt and Road" initiative and the Global Development Initiative with the African Union's 2063 Agenda and the development strategies of African countries, and combine the implementation of the results of the previous sessions of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation to promote China-Africa cooperation to a higher level, deeper level and wider field.

As of 2024, Chinese enterprises have participated in the construction and transformation of more than 10,000 kilometers of railways, nearly 100,000 kilometers of highways, nearly 100,000 bridges, nearly 100 ports, 66,000 kilometers of transmission and transformation lines, and 150,000 kilometers of backbone communication networks in African countries, providing important support for the healthy development of Africa's economy and society and the steady promotion of modernization. Chinese companies build factories and parks in African countries to promote local industrialization and create a large number of jobs. China and African countries jointly build agricultural technology demonstration centers, promote advanced agricultural technology, and significantly improve Africa's agricultural production capacity and food security guarantee capabilities. In response to Africa's urgent poverty reduction needs, China actively shares its poverty alleviation experience and carries out a series of people's livelihood projects to help African countries reduce poverty. A large number of "small and beautiful" projects have been implemented one after another, covering clean drinking water, rural roads, medical and health care, vocational training, solar lighting and other livelihood fields, truly achieving small projects, less investment, quick results, and more benefits for the people. Confucius Institute and the "Luban Workshop" provide African youth with practical vocational skills and cultural exchange platforms. China and Africa send international students to each other, jointly run schools, promote the joint construction and sharing of educational resources, and cultivate a large number of talents for China-Africa cooperation and African development.

China-Africa cooperation not only focuses on pragmatic development, but also demonstrates the strength of unity in international governance. On the international stage, China and Africa work together to firmly support true multilateralism and oppose unilateralism, hegemony and protectionism. With the joint efforts of China and Africa, the AU has become a formal member of the G20, and Egypt and Ethiopia have joined the BRICS family. China and Africa jointly promote the improvement of the global governance system, call for reform of the international financial structure, maintaining an open and inclusive multilateral trade mechanism, firmly safeguarding the common legitimate rights and interests of the "Global South", and making important contributions to the cause of world peace and development.

The vitality of the China-Africa Cooperation Forum comes from the concept of keeping pace with the times and sincere and pragmatic actions. In the future, China will continue to uphold the policy concept of true friendship and sincerity towards Africa, the correct view of justice and interests, and the spirit of China-Africa friendly cooperation, work hand in hand with Africa to draw a blueprint for development, share a prosperous future, accelerate the promotion of common modernization between China and Africa, and inject more positive strength into the stable development of the world.
