As one of the important theme activities of this conference, the Forum on Empowering Sustainable Development of Artificial Intelligence was successfully held that afternoon, aiming to build an international exchange platform, deepen artificial intelligence technology cooperation, and promote sustainable development.

At the opening ceremony of the Forum on Empowering Sustainable Development of Artificial Intelligence, representatives of Chinese and foreign guests delivered speeches, and experts, scholars and industry representatives made keynote speeches to share the innovative application of artificial intelligence technology in the field of sustainable development.

The two achievements of the "Artificial Intelligence Reinforced Learning Sustainable Development Plan" and the "Top Ten Artificial Intelligence Application Scenarios of the Belt and Road Initiative" were released on the forum. Among them, the "Artificial Intelligence Reinforced Learning Sustainable Development Plan" responds to the concepts of "actively support the use of artificial intelligence to help sustainable development" in the "Global Artificial Intelligence Governance Initiative", further deepens scientific and technological cooperation and talent exchanges under the framework of the "Belt and Road" and helps narrow the global intelligent gap. The "Top Ten Artificial Intelligence Application Scenarios of the Belt and Road Initiative" brings together a number of replicable and popularizable innovative scenarios, which can contribute "Chinese experience" to improving the level of intelligence in jointly building the country.

During the forum's special speech on global sustainable development of artificial intelligence, experts and scholars from Chinese and foreign research institutions, universities and enterprises delivered speeches and conducted in-depth discussions on topics such as "Artificial intelligence empowers new quality productivity", "opportunities and challenges brought by big model technology innovation", "Urban Intelligence Engine and Open Research Plan", and "Artificial Intelligence Empowers New Power Systems", explaining the potential and paths of artificial intelligence technology in promoting industrial upgrading, responding to climate change, and promoting energy transformation from different dimensions.

This forum also specially set up a roundtable dialogue session on artificial intelligence talent training and global youth sense of responsibility. The Chinese and foreign dialogue guests exchanged on issues such as innovation in artificial intelligence talent training model and responsibility for young scientific and technological talents. They unanimously believe that cultivating artificial intelligence talents with a global vision and innovation capabilities is the key to promoting the development of technology towards goodness and promoting sustainable development.
