On December 2, General Secretary Xi Jinping attended the fourth symposium on the construction of the Belt and Road Initiative and delivered an important speech, emphasizing: "The joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative has entered a new stage of high-quality development" and "unswervingly promote the high-quality joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative, and make greater contributions to promoting the building of a community with a shared future for mankind."

Faced with changes in the world, the times and the history, General Secretary Xi Jinping pioneered the initiative of jointly building the "Belt and Road", which is also the first global, large-scale and all-round international economic cooperation initiative proposed by my country after the reform and opening up. Over the past 11 years, my country has signed cooperation documents on jointly building the "Belt and Road" with more than 150 countries and more than 30 international organizations. The joint construction of the "Belt and Road" has taken root and flourished, and jointly painted a magnificent picture of connecting the world and sharing beauty.

Taking connectivity as the main line, we will strengthen policy communication, facility connectivity, smooth trade, financial and social communication, and mutual understanding between the people. The high-quality joint construction of the "Belt and Road" has injected new impetus into world economic growth, opened up new space for global development, and created a new platform for international economic cooperation, achieving mutual benefit and win-win results for jointly building countries.

The joint construction of the "Belt and Road" originated from China, and the achievements and opportunities belong to the world. Major landmark projects such as the China-Laos Railway and the Jakarta-Bandung High-speed Railway have effectively promoted the joint construction of national and regional connectivity. "Small and Beautiful" people's livelihood projects such as Luban Workshop and mushroom grass technology have taken root and continue to benefit the people of the country. Cooperation in traditional fields such as building materials, light industry, and processing and manufacturing continues to deepen, and cooperation in new fields such as digital economy, green development, and renewable energy has been widely expanded.

Work together and work together to achieve success. The "hard connectivity" of infrastructure, the "soft connectivity" of rules and standards, and the "heart connectivity" of the people of the country jointly built, are coordinated and promoted in depth and practical.
