Recently, at the "Belt and Road" Science and Technology Innovation Achievements Exhibition, the Ziyang Pavilion located in Hall 1, Xibo City was crowded with people, and 33 "Ziyang-made" exhibits were unveiled in concentrated manner. Among these exhibits, there are existing Ceres series launch vehicle models and high-speed speed technology displays in the field of commercial aerospace.

Among these exhibits are Ceres series launch vehicle models and high-speed speed technology displays in the commercial aerospace field, as well as unmanned vehicles in the transportation equipment sector, high-end light trucks in hydrogen fuel cell, and products such as one-piece dental comprehensive treatment machines in the oral equipment exhibition area, and personalized abutment for implantation.

However, in front of the booth of CRRC Ziyang Locomotive Co., Ltd., many exhibitors asked about the "CKD6H standard new energy locomotive exported to Kazakhstan" that was not displayed on the spot.

Due to the time of model production, this locomotive was not included in the exhibits in Ziyang Pavilion. It was just introduced in the exhibition video as a highlight product, which still attracted the attention of many customers. "They asked in detail about the parameters, performance and usage environment of this locomotive." Wang Zikang, a staff member of CRRC Ziyang Locomotive Co., Ltd., told reporters that many merchants also hope to visit the company in the future for detailed discussion.

Why are merchants so interested in this new energy locomotive? In Wang Zikang's view, the key is his strong technical strength. This locomotive is tailored for the extremely cold environment in Central Asia and can withstand the extreme temperatures of minus 50 degrees Celsius; it uses a hybrid system of "internal combustion engine power battery", which can save more than 45% of fuel and reduce noise by 80% compared to traditional internal combustion locomotives, and reduce pollutant emissions by 45%-83%.

Another thing that attracts customers is that after the launch of this locomotive, it carried out the Eurasian Economic Alliance product compliance certification (EAC) based on the standards of Chinese series new energy locomotives. "At present, there is no new energy locomotive that has passed the EAC certification in Central Asia. This locomotive will provide important reference and basis for subsequent EAC certification." Wang Zikang introduced that EAC certification is a mandatory requirement for products to enter the Eurasian Economic Union market. Products that have not passed the certification cannot be legally circulated in the alliance market. With this certification, new energy locomotives can quickly enter the Central and Eastern European markets.

It is worth mentioning that this is not only my country's first series standard new energy locomotive to achieve overseas exports, but also the first hybrid locomotive introduced by Kazakhstan, which can provide strong support for Kazakhstan to promote the replacement of new energy for old internal combustion locomotives.

It also provides a "Chinese sample" for low-carbon transformation for countries jointly building the "Belt and Road".

At present, the motorcycle has arrived in Almaty, Kazakhstan, and a ribbon cutting ceremony was held on June 10. "CKD6H locomotive will greatly improve the efficiency of Central Asia Railway Transportation. Its environmental performance and extreme cold adaptability are perfectly in line with regional needs. It is an excellent practice for jointly building the Green Silk Road." A representative of Kazakhstan National Railway Company commented in this way.

Continuous technological breakthroughs are driving more "Ziyang-made" locomotives to gallop on the track of jointly building the "Belt and Road" countries. At present, more than 1,200 locomotives produced by CRRC Ziyang Locomotive Co., Ltd. are exported to 34 countries and regions, accounting for more than half of China's total diesel locomotive exports, of which more than 90% serves the countries that jointly build the "Belt and Road" route.

During the exhibition, in addition to the booth of CRRC Ziyang Locomotive Co., Ltd., other booths in Ziyang Pavilion also attracted many customers from their respective fields. "We are fully promoting the accelerated development of characteristic industries such as equipment manufacturing, medical devices, and commercial aerospace. We hope that through this exhibition, we will fully demonstrate Ziyang's scientific and technological strength, and we will look forward to linking more opportunities for industrial cooperation and technical exchanges."
