Our province has imported and exported 2.96 billion yuan to 67 countries jointly built the "Belt and Road" countries with Belt and Road Initiative

This newspaper (reporter Qingkong) On July 28, the reporter learned from Xining Customs that in recent years, our province has increasingly close trade with countries jointly building the "Belt and Road" and the scale of imports and exports has increased from 2.38 billion yuan in 2021 to 4.41 billion yuan in 2024, with an average annual growth of 16.7%.

It is reported that in the first half of the year, our province imported and exported 2.96 billion yuan to 67 countries jointly built the "Belt and Road" and increased by 78.7%. The scale of imports and exports hit a new high since 2021, ranking first in the country, 74 percentage points higher than the national growth rate of countries jointly built the "Belt and Road" during the same period.

In the first half of the year, a total of 126 enterprises in our province participated in the joint construction of the "Belt and Road" countries, an increase of 26% over the same period last year, with a net increase of 26 enterprises. Among them, there were 115 private enterprises, an increase of 33.7%, and the import and export value was 2.59 billion yuan, an increase of 1.3 times, accounting for 87.5% of the import and export value of our province to countries jointly building the "Belt and Road" during the same period, and the vitality of foreign trade entities was continuously released.

In the first half of the year, our province exported 2.77 billion yuan to countries jointly built the "Belt and Road" system, an increase of 1.4 times, and the quality of exported goods increased. Among them, the export of mechanical and electrical products was 1.59 billion yuan, an increase of 7.9 times; polysilicon export was 280 million yuan, an increase of 17.3%; agricultural products export was 240 million yuan, an increase of 1.6 times; polyvinyl chloride export was 160 million yuan, an increase of 4.9 times, and new export momentum continued to emerge. As my country's cooperation with countries jointly building the "Belt and Road" continues to deepen, our province's trade with countries jointly building the "Belt and Road" will continue to maintain a good trend.

In the next step, Xining Customs will continue to deepen reform and innovation, optimize the port business environment, and contribute customs strength to smooth the international industrial chain and supply chain, promote cross-border trade facilitation, and promote the high-quality development of the joint construction of the "Belt and Road".
