The seminar is the third special meeting of the "2025 Annual Meeting on Deeply Studying and Practicing Xi Jinping's Economic Thoughts", with the theme of "Promoting Chinese-style modernization and world modernization with high-quality joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative". At present, China is developing rapidly in emerging fields such as artificial intelligence, digital economy and green economy. Taking artificial intelligence as an example, it is becoming an important driving force for the new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation.

Luo Rong pointed out that using artificial intelligence technology to empower the "Belt and Road" and promote Chinese-style modernization and world modernization should be the general trend and an objective requirement for the high-quality development of the "Belt and Road".

"The iterative upgrade and wide application of artificial intelligence technology will bring broad space for the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative." Luo Rong said that artificial intelligence will not only profoundly change human production and lifestyle, but will also give birth to a large number of new demands, including the construction of digital infrastructure and the wide implementation of industrial manufacturing, consumption, commerce and circulation, medical care and other fields.

At present, the cooperation desire and demands between countries and countries in the information field of jointly building the "Belt and Road" are becoming increasingly strong, and more powerful support is urgently needed at the policy level. Luo Rong believes that on the one hand, economic policies such as finance, currency, and industry should be coordinated with each other; on the other hand, non-economic policies such as education, science and technology, talents, and supervision should also be coordinated with economic policies, which is an objective requirement for promoting cooperation.
