Wang Peng, member of the Party Committee and vice president of the China Development Bank, said that the key to better play the role of policy-based financial institutions lies in promoting the diversification of investment and financing services of the "Belt and Road" from the supply side, and improving the quality and efficiency of pragmatic cooperation in the "Belt and Road" interconnection projects from the demand side. During the exchange and dialogue session, Luo Rong, director of the Institute of Foreign Economics of the National Development and Reform Commission, said that promoting the high-quality development of the joint construction of the "Belt and Road" requires unswervingly doing its own thing well, unswervingly expanding high-level opening up to the outside world, and using the nine mechanisms as a starting point to promote win-win cooperation with the country. Xin Xiuming, vice president of the China Chamber of Foreign Contracting Engineering, said that while jointly building the "Belt and Road" project drives local economic and social development, it also makes positive contributions to domestic economic and social development; the Chamber of Commerce not only provides services to enterprises, but also continuously strengthens corporate self-discipline and coordination to maintain industry operating order. Shi Yonghong, vice president of the China Chamber of Mechanical and Electrical Products Import and Export of Mechanical and Electrical Products, said that mechanical and electrical products are the main products of jointly building the "Belt and Road" trade. They not only promote smooth trade, but also promote common development through overseas engineering projects, industrial investment cooperation and other means.
