Recently, the management agency of China's "Belt and Road" Reinsurance Community (hereinafter referred to as the "Community") held a seminar on "Focusing on the new situation of the Belt and Road" in Beijing, and jointly discussing risk protection and breakthroughs" to conduct experience sharing and special discussions on how China's insurance industry can serve the "Belt and Road" with high quality and serve Chinese enterprises to "go global".

At the seminar, Wang Qi, deputy director of the Department of Foreign Investment and Economic Cooperation of the Ministry of Commerce, conducted an in-depth analysis of the new situation and new risks and challenges of my country's current international cooperation in industrial chain and supply chain. He pointed out that since its establishment, the community has leveraged its professional and technical advantages, and has achieved fruitful results in many work, and has become an important force in escorting the "Belt and Road". We hope that the community will be guided by national strategies, strengthen the analysis and judgment of national security risks in jointly building, participate in the construction of overseas comprehensive service systems, better play the role of industry platforms, build a solid industry infrastructure, deepen international cooperation, continuously upgrade insurance solutions, fill in the shortcomings and weaknesses in the special risk field, expand the coverage of guarantees, and make greater contributions to serving the high-quality development of the "Belt and Road".

Fu Baozong, deputy director of the International Cooperation Center of the National Development and Reform Commission, pointed out that under the new international and domestic changes, the risks and challenges of "going out" enterprises have increased, and the importance of insurance has become increasingly prominent. It is recommended that the insurance industry focus on key areas and key areas of the "Belt and Road" initiative, strengthen precise insurance product innovation, deepen the coordination and linkage between insurance and "going out" enterprises, improve industry service efficiency, actively promote international layout, enhance international voice, and promote the "going out" of the risk protection standard system.

The Community Management Agency and Bridge Society experts shared the experience of "going out" for Chinese insurance industry service companies, community protection and services, emerging risks and political violence risk underwriting experience.

Experts from China Energy Construction, China Chemical, China Export-Import Bank of China, COSCO Shipping Self-Insurance, China Power Construction Dinghao Brokerage, Huawei, and China Re Life Insurance have fully discussed key issues such as corporate risk management pain points, insurance demand and supply, new product and service needs, and collaborative cooperation models. The discussion content provides valuable opinions and suggestions for the community's work ideas and plans in the next five years.

Zhuang Qianzhi, President of China Reinsurance Group and Chairman of the Community, said that the community will continue to improve its strategic service level, build a global service ecosystem, upgrade the guarantee system, lead product innovation, and safeguard the high-quality development of the "Belt and Road".

At the seminar, China Reproperty Insurance, PICC Property and Casualty Insurance, Taiping Property and Casualty Insurance, Ping An Property and Casualty Insurance, and Dinghe Insurance reached cooperation intentions on a series of special risk management projects of the "Belt and Road".
