Statistics from Kunming Customs show that in the first seven months of this year, Yunnan's import and export of goods was 153.2 billion yuan, an increase of 7% year-on-year (same below). Among them, exports were 53.33 billion yuan, an increase of 2.1%; imports were 99.87 billion yuan, an increase of 9.8%.

In the first seven months of this year, Yunnan has become closer in trade relations with all parts of the world, with 185 countries and regions having trade exchanges. Imports and exports to countries with joint construction of the "Belt and Road" were 131.64 billion yuan, an increase of 11.4%, accounting for 85.9% of the total import and export value of Yunnan. The growth rate to ASEAN, the Middle East, Latin America and Africa accelerated. In the first seven months, Yunnan imported and exported 73.85 billion, 25.83 billion, 18.77 billion and 6.72 billion yuan to ASEAN, the Middle East, Latin America and Africa respectively, an increase of 11.8%, 12.7%, 32.2%, and 93.2%, respectively, and the growth rate accelerated by 2.4, 6.3, 3.3 and 23.5 percentage points compared with the first half of the year, accounting for a total of 81.7% of Yunnan's total import and export value.
Exports of specialty agricultural products on the plateau continue to grow. In the first seven months, Yunnan's agricultural product exports reached 10.98 billion yuan, an increase of 12%, ranking first in central and western my country. Among them, coffee, its products and fresh cut flowers were exported 720 million yuan and 630 million yuan respectively, ranking first in the country in terms of export value.
The steady growth of industrial production has driven the expansion of import scale. Since the beginning of this year, with the continued release of policy combination effects, Yunnan's industrial production has grown steadily, and the growing demand for production has driven the expansion of import scale. In the first seven months, the province imported 21.81 billion yuan of metal ore sand, an increase of 47.2%; and imported 2.37 billion yuan of natural and synthetic rubber, an increase of 42%.
