People's Daily Dubai, August 26 (Reporter Guan Kejiang) "China is an important force on the international stage. China's rapid economic development, political influence and development cooperation, especially the proposal of the joint construction of the "Belt and Road" initiative, demonstrates that the international strategic pattern is undergoing major changes." Recently, Iranian scholar and director of the International Department of the Mehl News Agency, Mohamed Muradi, said in an exclusive interview with People's Daily reporters that the joint construction of the "Belt and Road" initiative aims to closely link Asia, Africa and Europe. This is not just an economic cooperation initiative, but a concentrated reflection of China's development policy, providing unprecedented development opportunities for all parties involved.

The Mehl News Agency is one of Iran's most important news agencies, broadcasting news in six languages. Muradi said that Iran is in the heart of the Eurasian continent and is a natural bridge for communication between the East and the West. Iran has rich natural resources and high-quality technical talents, and is able to cooperate closely with China in various fields such as renewable energy, chemical industry, digital economy and artificial intelligence. Iran and China have signed a comprehensive cooperation plan, pointing out the path for both sides to carry out pragmatic cooperation.
Muradi said: "Iran-China relations are of strategic significance. Politically, the relationship between the two sides is based on mutual trust, respect and independence. As a permanent member of the Security Council, China plays an important role in regional peace and stability. Economically, the foundation of energy cooperation between Iran-China is solid. Culturally, the exchanges and dialogue between the two sides are becoming increasingly in-depth. With the continuous expansion of cooperation in these three dimensions, Iran-China has not only become a strategic partner in the 21st century, but also a model of mutual learning between civilizations."
Muradi stressed that Iran's accession to the SCO and BRICS mechanisms is of great significance. The SCO and the BRICS mechanism are important platforms for strengthening solidarity and cooperation between southern countries and emerging economies around the world. The world's multipolarization is accelerating its development, and Iran is willing to play a greater role in regional security, stability and development. He said that the current international situation is undergoing major changes, unilateralism and domineering bullying are becoming increasingly unpopular, and the trend of multipolarization in the world is accelerating its development. Iran hopes to work with other strategic partners to promote a more just and reasonable international order.
Muradi said that from a broader perspective, China's positioning in the world can be a "model of global civilization." In the face of common challenges of mankind, China's development wisdom and governance philosophy can provide inspiration and guidance for the sustainable development of all countries. Iran looks forward to seizing the historic opportunity of jointly building the "Belt and Road" and strengthening all-round practical cooperation with China to create a new era of global civilization.
