With the approval of the Central Committee of the Party and the National Institute of Economic Affairs, according to the National Annual Festival and Memorial Day Holiday Regulations, revised in November 2024, starting from January 1, 2025, all citizens will have an additional 2 days of holidays, including one day for Spring Festival and Sports Festival. This will further improve the principles of holiday adjustment. Except for special circumstances, the Spring Festival will be on holidays for 8 days from the New Year's Eve, the National Festival will be on holidays for 7 days from October 1, and the National Festival will be on holidays for 5 days. The New Year's Day, Qingming Festival, Dragon Boat Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival will be on holidays for 3 days (if it will be on Wednesdays on that day), and the National Festival will be on holidays for 8 days together.

According to the above principles, the specific arrangements for the holidays of New Year's Day, Spring Festival, Qingming Festival, Sports Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day in 2025 are as follows.

1. New Year's Day: January 1 (Wednesday) will be on one day and will not be closed.

2. Spring Festival: The holiday will be closed from January 28 (New Year's Eve of the Farming Festival and Tuesday) to February 4 (the seventh and Tuesday of the first lunar month). There will be a total of 8 days. Go to work on January 26 (Sunday) and February 8 (Saturday).

3. Qingming Festival: It will be on holiday from April 4 (Friday) to 6 (Sunday), a total of 3 days.

4. Sports: May 1st (Thursday) to May 5th (Monday), a total of 5 days. Go to work on April 27 (Sunday).

5. Dragon Boat Festival: May 31 (Saturday) to June 2 (Monday), a total of 3 days.

6. National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival: Holidays will be closed from October 1st (Wednesday) to 8th (Wednesday), totaling 8 days. Go to work on September 28 (Sunday) and October 11 (Saturday).
