On September 1, the reporter learned from the Autonomous Region Ocean Bureau that from September 8 to 12, the Forum on Blue Economic Cooperation and Development for ASEAN will be held in Nanning. This forum is co-organized by the Ocean Bureau of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the Fourth Ocean Research Institute of the Ministry of Natural Resources, and the Joint R&D Center of Marine Science and Technology of China-ASEAN Countries. Focusing on the theme of "Innovation, Green, Intelligence, China-ASEAN Blue New Future", it deeply focuses on the field of China-ASEAN blue economic development, and comprehensively displays the exchanges and cooperation achievements between China and ASEAN countries in marine ecology, industry, science and technology.

At present, all preparations are being carried out in an orderly manner. At that time, about 350 representatives from relevant government departments of China and ASEAN countries, officials of embassies and consulates in China, international organizations related to sea, scientific research and education institutions related to sea, and relevant business associations and enterprises at home and abroad will participate in the forum's relevant activities.

The forum mainly sets up a series of activities such as the opening ceremony and main forum, seminars and exchanges, theme exhibitions, on-site visits and inspections, aiming to thoroughly implement the "Belt and Road" initiative, focus on the sustainable development of China-ASEAN marine, build a platform for exchanges and cooperation in the field of mechanisms, consolidate the Guangxi channel of the blue economic partnership, and work with ASEAN countries to actively build a community of shared future for China-ASEAN.

At the same time, the 13th China-Thailand Joint Laboratory Management Committee Meeting, the 14th China-Thailand Marine Science and Technology Cooperation Symposium, the China-ASEAN Countries Marine Drugs and Biological Products Symposium, the "Artificial Intelligence Marine Clean Energy" Symposium, and the China-ASEAN Marine New Energy International Training Class will also be held. The guests will exchange key topics in the fields of marine ecology, marine industry, marine science and technology, and actively provide suggestions for deepening the development of blue partnerships between China and ASEAN countries.
