On the evening of September 9, the world's first "smart zero-carbon" terminal efficiently completed the loading and unloading of the 23534 standard container ship "Mediterranean Alina", breaking the record of single voyage operation of container ships in Tianjin Port (previously the largest loading and unloading of 20,000 standard containers), and also created a record of single voyage operation of my country's automated container terminals, showing the "hard core" strength of Tianjin Port as an international hub port.

In order to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the "Mediterranean Alina", Tianjin Port Second Container Terminal Co., Ltd. has fully utilized the technical advantages of the "smart zero-carbon" terminal. Feng Miao, manager of the company's operation department, introduced: "We use real-time internal dynamic adjustment of the operation plan to achieve efficient connections in all links, adopt the "mounting and unloading" process, and cooperate with the "ship-side-side straight lifting" operation model to maximize the pressure reduction of loading and unloading "hongfeng"; at the same time, we actively coordinate the shipping company to adjust the loading chart, connect with the yard fleet, targeted improvement of transportation efficiency, and achieve large-throughput loading and unloading balance. With the help of intelligent means, the ship, port and external yard fleets work together to achieve efficient coordination."

It is reported that the cargo loaded on the "Mediterranean Alina" includes cars and accessories from inland hinterland enterprises, tomato sauce, steel coils, bicycles, chemicals and other special products. It will be routed along the Mediterranean West Africa route to India, Singapore, Vietnam, Ghana, Togo, Côte d'Ivoire, Congo (Brazza), and other countries, adding a new footnote to the smooth opening of domestic and international dual circulation logistics channels.

As the strategic fulcrum of the Maritime Silk Road and the land-sea intersection of the "Belt and Road", Tianjin Port continues to weave a tight international route network. Since the beginning of this year, many new routes along the "Belt and Road" such as the Mediterranean Shipping Europe Line and the Maersk Southeast Asia Line have been opened one after another. The "Belt and Road" routes that are operating stably carry more than 60% of foreign trade cargo traffic. This route network that runs through land and sea provides a more stable and convenient maritime logistics channel for economic and trade exchanges between inland hinterlands such as Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, the Three Norths and countries jointly built the "Belt and Road" system.

The average single voyage work box volume in port exceeds 12,000 TEUs.

Wang Qi, manager of the liner department of China Tianjin Foreign Shipping Agency Co., Ltd., said: "We have achieved the connection between customers and port collection business through the 'Tiangang Connect' platform, and actively coordinated with port departments such as customs, maritime, border inspection, etc., so as to reduce the import joint inspection time by 30%, and the customs clearance time of import and export goods by more than 20%, and the goods are seamlessly connected with "direct lifting and direct loading".
