In the early morning, a China-Laos Railway International Freight Train loaded with Laos iron ore sands slowly drove into the Mohan Railway Port, and the customs officers immediately carried out inspection operations. Using convenient measures such as "release first and then inspect" and "quality inspection upon application", after the customs officer passes the on-site inspection and quarantine, this batch of iron ore sand can be taken out of the customs supervision operation site and transported to China, achieving rapid customs clearance.
Since its opening and operation, the China-Laos Railway has steadily increased its import and export freight volume, convenient customs clearance and strong stability, and the types of cross-border transportation commodities have been continuously enriched. It has gradually become the preferred transportation method for importing bulk resource products such as metal ore and sand, as well as agricultural products such as grain and fruit.
