China News Service Kunming, September 14 (Luanzi Hengba Deqing) Kunming Customs reported on the 13th that in the first eight months of this year, Yunnan Province's total import and export volume to countries jointly built the "Belt and Road" reached 153.8 billion yuan (RMB, the same below), an increase of 12.5% year-on-year (same below), accounting for 85.9% of Yunnan's total import and export value. Among them, exports were 48.08 billion yuan, an increase of 17.7%; imports were 105.72 billion yuan, an increase of 10.3%.
Recently, workers are skillfully picking mature citrus at the Lianmian citrus planting base in Huaning County, Yuxi City. After cleaning, grading, packaging and customs inspection, these citrus were sent to Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Thailand and other countries to jointly build the "Belt and Road" country. According to statistics, the value of fresh citrus exported by Yuxi Customs in the first eight months of this year reached 547 million yuan, an increase of 159% year-on-year.

"In the past, our citrus were mainly sold in China. Since we successfully obtained export qualifications last year, we finally went directly to the international market." Zhang Chengxue, general manager of Huaning Huifeng Agricultural Development Co., Ltd., introduced.
In order to promote the efficient "going out" of special agricultural products in Yunnan Plateau, Kunming Customs has established a "one-to-one" assistance mechanism to address the export needs of enterprises, providing technical guidance from orchard pest control, pesticide residue monitoring to fruit packaging and identification, and continuously helping enterprises improve product quality and ensure compliance with the access standards of the target country. In the customs clearance process, we will innovate the implementation of the "Appointment Inspection Centralized Inspection" model, set up a green channel for "Inspection Inspection and Appointment Specialist", pilot centralized operations in key production areas, and reduce the inspection time of single batches of goods by 90%, helping fruits to quickly clear their clearance.
According to Kunming Customs statistics, in the first eight months of this year, Yunnan exported 10.58 billion yuan of agricultural products to countries jointly built the "Belt and Road" countries, an increase of 7.1%, accounting for 22% of Yunnan's total export value to countries jointly built the "Belt and Road".
Since its opening and operation, the China-Laos Railway has continued to play the role of the major international logistics artery. Its advantages of large transportation capacity, fast customs clearance and strong stability have made it the preferred transportation method for importing agricultural products such as metal ore sand, grain, and fruit. In the first eight months of this year, Yunnan imported 65.45 billion yuan of commodities from countries jointly built the "Belt and Road" of countries, an increase of 9.6%, of which 23 billion yuan of metal ores and ore sands were 23 billion yuan, an increase of 64%.
