"Zheng He" was first released

The first set of pictures displayed on the spot by Wang Ning focused on "win-win cooperation", the first of which was the first spot of the "Zheng He" train.

On July 4 this year, the first "Zheng He" train departed from Kunming Tengjun International Land Port, and went directly to Vientiane, Laos along the China-Laos Railway. Through three lines (Thailand Linchaban Port-Singapore, Thailand Ranong Port-Myanmar Yangon Port-Chittagong, Bangladesh, and Thailand-North China National Taiwan Province), the supply chain effectively covers South and Southeast Asian countries such as Thailand, Singapore, and Bangladesh. Especially Line 2, a new route from Kunming, China to Chittagong, Bangladesh, was opened. The whole journey took about 18 days, which was more than 17 days shorter than the traditional route from Kunming to Chittagong, and the timeliness was increased by about 50%.

Wang Ning took "Zheng He", a symbol that spans time and space, as the entry point, and led the audience to trace back the long scroll of history more than 600 years ago - Zheng He voyages to the West seven times, and reached Kenya, Africa and Kenya. Along the way, he brought Chinese silk, porcelain, and tea, and brought back spices, gems and wood, which became an eternal story on the Maritime Silk Road.

Organic rice demonstration project in Yunnan Province, China and Bali Province, Indonesia

The second set of pictures displayed by Wang Ning are a series of "small and beautiful" projects, including the organic rice demonstration project of Yunnan Province in China and Bali Province in Indonesia, Yunnan's screening and treatment of children's congenital heart disease in Cambodia, and Yunnan's aid to build drinking water facilities in Bangladesh.

In 2024, the "Xin Unicom and Yunnan Tour" project entered Indonesia for the first time, and carried out organic rice cultivation projects in Tabanan County, Bali Province, to purchase organic rice seeds, fertilizers, agricultural machinery and equipment and other production materials for farmers in the Jatiluvi region of central Bali Province. At the same time, organic agricultural technology training was carried out to provide full-process guidance from breeding to terminal sales, and to drive the development of local organic ecological agriculture.

The project adheres to the concept of high quality and benefiting the people's livelihood and helps the development of the local ecological agricultural tourism industry. Not only effectively improve the rice harvest, it also helps villagers enhance their independent development capabilities.

By the end of 2024, the green terraced fields produced golden results of pragmatic cooperation between China and Indonesia: nearly 17 hectares of organic rice were planted, benefiting 125 farmers and more than 400 people; by introducing high-quality rice seeds, optimizing field management, and improving the organic planting system, the rice yield has been increased from 4,000 kg/hectare to 4,500 kg/hectare, an increase of 12.5%; compared with the traditional planting model, the comprehensive income of farmers in the project area increased by about 30%.

"In May this year, when I visited Indonesia, I communicated with local farmers. They were all very happy, gave a thumbs up, and sincerely thanked China for their help." Wang Ning mentioned that there are many similar projects. Yunnan has implemented nearly 600 "small and beautiful" projects in 17 neighboring countries, and millions of people have benefited from it.

Wang Ning also specially displayed pictures taken at the China-Equatorial Guinea Friendship Primary School in Jinping Miao Yao Dai Autonomous County, Honghe Hani Yi Autonomous Prefecture. This primary school was jointly built by the two sides 10 years ago on the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries and is a witness to the deep friendship between the two countries. Over the past 10 years, more than 2,000 students have graduated from here, and the seeds of friendship are constantly blooming and bearing fruit.

Vincent is from the Alsace-Lorraine region in eastern France and currently runs a French restaurant in Kunming called "à Table". After living in Yunnan for 10 years, he not only regarded this place as his second hometown, but also integrated the local customs of Yunnan into cooking to create a unique and fusion food.

Vincent followed his wife Zhang Haiya across half of the earth, and they run a "sweet" career and love in Spring City. Yunnan's abundant resources, Kunming's mild climate and the support of his wife and family made Vincent's career flourish in a foreign country.

China's Yunnan rescue team went to Myanmar to rescue

After receiving the news of the Myanmar earthquake, the Chinese central government immediately issued a rescue order to Yunnan. Yunnan moved when he heard the order and formed a 37-person rescue medical team to Myanmar overnight. Afterwards, another 50 people were sent to participate in the disaster relief and transported 87 tons of disaster relief supplies. The rescue team carried out arduous work for 9 days and 8 nights in response to the risk of aftershocks and the high temperature of 40 degrees Celsius. The Yunnan Medical Rescue Team of China is the first international rescue team to arrive in Myanmar and rescue survivors. It transported the first batch of international rescue materials, demonstrating China's speed and responsibility as a major country.

This friendship that crosses national borders was also vividly reflected during the epidemic. "In the early stage of the fight against the epidemic, when we were short of masks and protective clothing, many countries such as Laos, Myanmar, and Thailand donated more than 1.7 million masks and more than 8,000 sets of protective clothing to us."
