Fujian is an open province, and Fujian businessmen have bravely entered the world and set the trend by relying on the pioneering and innovative spirit of "dare to be the first, love to work hard, and win". Since the "14th Five-Year Plan", we have formulated and introduced the "Silk Road Investment" policy every year, actively built a service system for enterprises going overseas, established a professional service alliance for "Fujian enterprises going overseas", and launched a comprehensive service platform for "Fujian enterprises going overseas" to encourage and support enterprises to "go global" in a safe and orderly manner, improve their ability to participate in international economic cooperation and competition, and inject new impetus into the province's high-quality development.

From 2021 to the end of August 2025, Fujian Province has registered a total of 1,175 new foreign investment enterprises, with China's agreed investment amount reaching US$20.96 billion, and actual investment amounting to US$12.65 billion, distributed in 87 countries and regions, involving 17 national economic industry categories such as wholesale and retail, and manufacturing. Foreign investment drives exports to nearly US$10 billion every year. The scale of overseas labor dispatch has ranked first in the country for five consecutive years. There are mainly three highlights:

First, the rise of local multinational companies is accelerating. CATL's global production capacity layout is accelerating, and its production bases in Hungary and Spain are steadily advancing, further enhancing its position in the international supply chain. Zijin Mining has increased investment in Central Asia, South America and other regions, and its reserves of copper, gold and other mineral resources have ranked among the top in the world. Fuyao Glass's overseas revenue accounts for 42%. It has built 11 production bases in the United States, Germany and other countries, and is deeply integrated with the supply chains of Tesla, Mercedes-Benz and other car companies.

Second, the construction of overseas parks has achieved results. China-Indonesia and other "two countries and two parks" have been approved and their construction has been accelerated, striving to create a new highland for open cooperation under the "Belt and Road" initiative. The layout of overseas economic and trade cooperation zones is more extensive. According to incomplete statistics, Fujian enterprises have invested in the construction of more than 40 overseas industrial parks, covering an area of ​​more than 100 square kilometers, providing a carrier platform for enterprises to gather and develop overseas investment.

Third, we have achieved fruitful results in serving foreign aid. It has hosted more than 200 foreign aid training projects, with more than 5,000 trainees, ranking among the top in the country. Actively promote international cooperation on Juncao technology, combine Juncao technology with international poverty reduction, and implement it in more than 100 countries around the world, contributing Fujian's strength to promoting human poverty reduction.
