Exports from the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region exceeded one trillion yuan in the first three quarters of 2025, setting a new high for the same period in history
Data released by Beijing Customs on the 24th showed that in the first three quarters of this year, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region exported 1.07 trillion yuan (RMB, the same below), a year-on-year increase of 5.2%, setting a record high for the same period in history.
Exports in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region continue to improve. From April to September this year, exports increased year-on-year and month-on-month for six consecutive months. In September, exports from the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region reached 134.23 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 13% and a month-on-month increase of 5.4%. The export scale exceeded 130 billion yuan for the first time in history.
In terms of commodities, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region exported 608.4 billion yuan of mechanical and electrical products in the first three quarters, accounting for 56.7% of the total regional export value in the same period. Among them, the export of automobile parts was 45.31 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 14.2%; the export of integrated circuits was 32.63 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4%; the export of ships was 29.05 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 170.1%. During the same period, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region exported 40.97 billion yuan, 26.62 billion yuan, and 26.62 billion yuan of textiles and clothing, medical materials, and pharmaceuticals, a year-on-year increase of 2.6% and 29% respectively.
In terms of trading partners, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region exported 621.56 billion yuan to countries co-building the “Belt and Road” in the first three quarters, a year-on-year increase of 7.5%, accounting for 57.9% of the total regional export value in the same period. Exports to ASEAN, the Middle East, Latin America, and African countries were 180.24 billion yuan, 103.53 billion yuan, 98.84 billion yuan, and 84.22 billion yuan respectively, representing year-on-year increases of 3.9%, 10.4%, 15.2%, and 31% respectively.
