On October 30, the second "Jiangshan Forum" sub-forum was held in Yibin. More than 80 representatives from party and government departments, universities, scientific research institutions, enterprises and media along the Yangtze River Economic Belt participated in the sub-forum to discuss the high-quality development practices of the Yangtze River Economic Belt in a Chinese-style modernization.

Wu Xiaoqiu, dean of the National Institute of Financial Research at Renmin University of China, Sun Xuegong, director of the Decision-making Consulting Department of the China Institute of Macroeconomics, and Changchun, dean and chief expert of the Jiangsu Yangtze River Economic Zone Research Institute at Nantong University attended the meeting and delivered keynote speeches. The forum was chaired by Tu Yonghong, Dean of the Yangtze River Economic Belt Research Institute of Renmin University of China.

At the forum, He Qing, deputy director of the National Institute of Financial Research of Renmin University of China, released a case report on "Vivid Practice of Chinese Modernization—Yangtze River Economic Belt". The report has 13 chapters in total. By refining the valuable practical experience of 11 cities including Yibin, it panoramically displays the magnificent picture of the modernization of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, constructs a chapter of the Yangtze River in Chinese-style modernization, and provides valuable "Chinese experience" and "Chinese solutions" for regional coordination and sustainable development across the country and even the world.

This forum was co-organized by the Yangtze River Economic Belt Research Institute of Renmin University of China and the National Institute of Financial Research of Renmin University of China. With the core theme of "High-quality Development Practice of the Yangtze River Economic Belt in Chinese Modernization", through keynote speeches, case releases, round-table discussions and other multiple links, the forum systematically reviewed the results of the modernization construction during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period and looked forward to the development blueprint of the "15th Five-Year Plan". It aimed to collide and gather new wisdom, new ideas and new plans for the economic and social development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and even the whole country.
