On the morning of December 31, as New Year's Day 2020 approaches, the Bridge Maritime Bureau welcomed a group of international friends. They were senior media executives from more than ten countries along the "Belt and Road" and made a special trip to China to participate in Guangdong interviews with senior media executives along the "Belt and Road".

It is reported that in order to report on the major changes that have taken place in China since the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China, and jointly publicize and demonstrate the achievements of the construction of the "Belt and Road", the "Sensing Media Interview Activities in Countries Along the Belt and Road" were held from December 29, 2019 to January 7, 2020. On December 31, the interview team visited the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. In order to undertake this activity, the Bridge Maritime Bureau sent the "Caishou Guard 0930" and a number of maritime personnel led by Political Commissar Zeng Zhipeng to undertake the interview activities with high standards and high quality, fully demonstrating the good image of the Bridge Maritime Affairs.

The interview team toured the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge with the "Caishou 0930" boat, and felt the magnificence of the world's longest cross-sea bridge at close range. The maritime officers along the way enthusiastically introduced to the visiting guests from various countries the construction process of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and the work of the bridge maritime officers to achieve safety in the bridge and sea for eight years. When learning that during the construction period of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, the bridge maritime officer was stationed on the "Sea Tube 1550" ship 500 meters away from the West Artificial Island to provide "intimate" escort services to the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, the guests gave thumbs up and praised the bridge maritime officer's dedication and responsibility spirit.

The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge is the first super-large infrastructure project jointly built by Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao under the conditions of "one country, two systems". It is currently the world's longest mileage, longest life, largest steel structure, largest construction difficulty, longest immersed pipe tunnel, highest technical content, and the largest scientific patents and investment amount. It is known as one of the "Seven Wonders of the Modern World". It not only represents the advanced level of China's bridge, but also reflects China's national comprehensive national strength.

Through visiting the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, the guests deeply felt the spirit of struggle and patriotic spirit of the builders who were not afraid of hardships and were brave enough to explore. At the same time, they also realized the hardships and efforts made by the maritime department to ensure the safe construction and safe operation of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. They sincerely admired the struggle of the Chinese people to unite and create a great project.
