Justice.com Xiamen, March 31 (Reporter Shi Zhaokun) The "Belt and Road" Legal Service International Forum opened in Xiamen, Fujian on the 30th. Chen Wenqing, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.

Chen Wenqing pointed out that President Xi Jinping proposed the initiative to jointly build the "Belt and Road" and the fundamental starting point and end point are to explore the "happiness road" that benefits all countries and the world. On the "Belt and Road" platform, which brings together more than 150 countries, the rule of law is not only an important part of strengthening cooperation among countries, but also a solid guarantee for common development. In recent years, China has continued to deepen international law enforcement and judicial cooperation, actively joined relevant international conventions including law enforcement and judicial cooperation, innovated the cooperation mechanism between Chinese and foreign law firms, established international commercial courts, and carried out pilot projects for the construction of international commercial arbitration centers, etc., providing strong support and guarantee for the high-quality development of the "Belt and Road" with high-level rule of law.

Chen Wenqing said that China is willing to work with all parties to discuss rules, actively strengthen the docking and connection between laws, policies, standards and rules, and create a smooth "rule road"; discuss cooperation, actively carry out cooperation in legal services such as lawyers, arbitration, and commercial mediation, and jointly establish exchanges and cooperation mechanisms such as law enforcement cooperation, judicial assistance, legal service coordination, cross-border dispute resolution, and legal talent training; jointly build a platform, gather legal service resources in the entire chain, provide a broader platform for the joint construction of countries to carry out multilateral cooperation, and provide stronger legal guarantees for the high-quality joint construction of the "Belt and Road", so that the "Belt and Road" will become more prosperous and wider.

Before the opening ceremony, Chen Wenqing met with the main guests attending the forum.

Minister of Justice He Rong, Secretary of the Fujian Provincial Party Committee Zhou Zuyi, and heads of relevant international organizations attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches.
