On January 18, a preparation seminar for the Belt and Road Art Trading Center was held in Kunming. The old leaders of the Party, government and military in Yunnan Province, experts and scholars from the cultural and artistic circles inside and outside the province, leaders of relevant departments of the Ministry of Education stationed in Yunnan, chief engineers of provincial planning and design, entrepreneurs with strength and investment intentions inside and outside the province, representatives of cultural and artistic schools inside and outside the province, and relevant personnel of the provincial government participated in the preparation and seminar. The meeting focused on: "The Belt and Road Initiative, build a world platform of the Belt and Road, a community of shared future; the Belt and Road requires cultural export and cultural power. Combined with Yunnan's geographical advantages and the construction of the Belt and Road art trading platform in Yunnan, a full discussion was conducted. It was unanimously believed that establishing a "Belt and Road Art Trading Center" in Yunnan is very necessary and timely, and it is a concrete action to implement the Belt and Road concept and position Yunnan Province towards the radiological center facing South Asia and Southeast Asia. It is also an international stage to better spread Chinese art and Chinese culture to South Asia, Southeast Asia and the world.

The Belt and Road Art Trading Center built will serve the world's artworks, and will involve the development of the entire industrial chain such as art trading, art auction, art banking, international cultural and creative industries, art incubation, art media, domestic and foreign forums, cultural exchanges, bonded warehousing, copyright, digital artworks, art space, art tourism, artificial intelligence, etc. In the future, it will cooperate with many other institutions such as Christie's, Sotheby's, China Poly and other global auction companies.

The National Representative Art Trading Center has demonstrated the development prospects of the art trading center of Yunnan, the Shanghai Free Trade Zone International Art Trading Center, Hainan International Cultural and Art Trading Center, and Xiamen International Art Trading Center; the three local art centers have demonstrated the development prospects of the art trading center for our Yunnan construction of the Belt and Road Art Trading Center. According to the data and business segment estimates of the National Art Trading Center, the expected output value of the art trading center in the initial establishment of the art trading center is over 100 million, and the expected output value of the medium-term industrial development is over 10 billion. In the future, the output value of the entire industrial chain will move towards a output value of 100 billion.

During this seminar, relevant departments in Yunnan Province hope that the preparation team of the Belt and Road Art Trading Center will make good use of Yunnan's advantages, adapt to local conditions, and build an international large platform for art with both Yunnan and Chinese characteristics, so as to better spread Chinese culture and serve the society.
