From January to the end of August this year, the group company has exported more than 32,500 tons of steel of various types, of which more than 10,000 tons of steel exported to ASEAN countries, with a total value of US$13.84 million, nearly 10 times more than the whole year of last year.

Expanding exports and earning more foreign exchange is an important part of Liugang's products actively integrating with the international market. Therefore, Liugang has always regarded improving product quality as the highest standard and proposed to demand benefits from technological innovation and rely on technological content to improve quality. Based on the investment of 1.58 billion yuan in technical transformation and technological innovation last year, the group will invest 1.8 billion yuan this year. The technical transformation and innovation of dozens of major projects such as the second continuous rod material, the coke phase II project of 700,000 tons, the No. 7 1,100 cubic meters blast furnace renovation and No. 4 250 cubic meters lime kiln have been completed, bringing its product quality to a new level. The 14 series and 77 specifications produced have won the National Product Quality "Golden Cup" for many years, and its shipboard products have been jointly recognized by classification societies of seven countries including the United Kingdom, Norway, France, Japan, Germany, the United States and China. Due to the excellent product quality and high technological content, its 6.5 and 8 mm wire and 12 to 28 mm rebar products have become popular in the South Korean and Vietnam markets. From January to August, the steel exported to these two countries was as much as 16,600 tons. In early July, a Spanish merchant made a special trip to order 10,400 tons of steel with a specification of "US standard 236" at one time, and the foreign exchange rate alone reached 5 million US dollars.

In addition, the group is the first in the country to pass the international standard quality system certification. Hot-rolled ribbed steel bars (rebar) that won the National "Golden Cup Award" as a national inspection-free product. Recently, the registered trademark of "GGL" was launched, and all the export supply indicators of the products have been ordered in November.
