This is the 180th China-Europe freight train issued by the Gaoyi outlet of Shijiazhuang Railway Logistics Center this year. Since the Shijiazhuang International Land Port Special Line was opened in June 2018, the shipping containers of the center's China-Europe Express have exceeded 150,000 TEUs.

Standing on the platform on the 6th floor of Shijiazhuang International Land Port Exhibition Center, looking into the distance, the gantry crane is constantly lifting and falling, the containers are stacked like forests, and trucks are shuttled back and forth, a busy operation scene.
Shijiazhuang International Land Port is one of the "main battlefields" for China Railway Beijing Bureau Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "China Railway Beijing Bureau") to launch China-Europe freight trains, and is also the only railway hub for the regular delivery of China-Europe freight trains in the inland areas of central and southern Hebei. Gaoyi County, where Shijiazhuang International Land Port is located, is located in an important location in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei. The surrounding railway and highway transportation is developed, and can achieve efficient transportation with major transit port stations of China-Europe freight trains such as Erlianhot and Alashankou. At the same time, there are many enterprises in the surrounding area, with rich high-quality supply of automobile accessories, bearings, photovoltaic panels, medicine and other specialties, and have obvious advantages in transportation time and supply organization.
The Beijing Bureau of China Railway has grasped the location advantages of Shijiazhuang International Land Port and made every effort to drive the China-Europe freight train, contributing to the high-quality development of the joint construction of the "Belt and Road". Statistics show that in recent years, the number of China-Europe freight trains in Shijiazhuang International Land Port has been continuously growing. Three China-Europe freight trains were launched in 2018, 100 freight trains were launched in 2020, 177 freight trains were launched in 2021, 310 freight trains were launched in 2022, 318 freight trains were launched in 2023, and 337 freight trains were launched in 2024. At present, the China-Europe freight trains shipped from Shijiazhuang International Land Port operate 7 trains per week, with transportation routes covering more than 10 countries including Russia, Belarus, Poland, etc., injecting strong impetus into the "Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Manufacturing" to the global market.
As a local freight forwarding company, Hebei Kunyuan International Freight Co., Ltd. has been focusing on railway transportation agency since its inception. Wang Yufen, general manager of the company, introduced that before the Shijiazhuang International Land Port dedicated line was opened, local goods had to be transported by China-Europe freight train, and they could only choose to ship from Xi'an or Zhengzhou. Containers had to be transported to Zhengzhou and Xi'an by car, which had high transportation costs. After the launch of the China-Europe freight train at Shijiazhuang International Land Port, their goods were shipped from here, and the transportation cost was greatly reduced. Moreover, Shijiazhuang International Land Port has a customs supervision site and a B-type bonded logistics center. Foreign trade goods can be declared locally, saving the waiting time for customs declaration and inspection at the port, which is very convenient.
With the continuous growth of the number of China-Europe freight trains and the volume of cargo transmission, as the railway transportation organization unit for sending China-Europe freight trains, Shijiazhuang Railway Logistics Center has jointly launched a joint office with Shijiazhuang International Land Port, breaking down the barriers of traditional industries, integrating road and enterprise box pipes, internal offices, and dispatch positions, real-time sharing of enterprise logistics and railway freight information, effectively improving the transportation organization efficiency of China-Europe freight trains.
"In the past, enterprises often submitted daily plans for misreporting cars, but now road and enterprises can work in a centralized manner and communicate and verify information in real time, which not only serves the company, but also improves efficiency." said Liu Lifeng, head of the Gaoyi outlet of Shijiazhuang Railway Logistics Center. Li Jiale, a dispatcher at Shijiazhuang International Land Port, believes that the coordinated work of railway personnel with enterprises on site has completely eliminated the rework problem caused by poor communication and put a "safety lock" in the timeliness of exported goods.
At the same time, Shijiazhuang Railway Logistics Center continues to optimize the traffic organization of China-Europe freight trains, and further refine and adjust the train operation model in light of this year's standardized changes in the number of China-Europe freight trains. Cooperate with railway vehicle service, dispatch and cargo units to ensure that all processes of empty truck supply and heavy truck mount transportation are sufficient, effectively give full play to the advantages of map-determined train transportation, strengthen transportation organizational contacts, fully compress the assembly and loading and unloading time of China-Europe freight trains, make clear provisions on the operating time of all links such as heavy box stations, unboxing and inspection, demand reporting and customs inspection, and implement the "five priority" service measures of priority acceptance, priority transportation, priority air distribution, priority loading and priority transportation to ensure that the equipment and facilities are well operated and the loading and unloading equipment is well prepared.
It is worth noting that since the second half of 2024, the return cargo of China-Europe freight has surged, and paper, plates, zinc ingots, barley, wheat, potassium fertilizers, asbestos and other commodities from Russia and Central Asia have been continuously transported to China, bringing stable and rich raw materials to processing enterprises in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. This year, Shijiazhuang International Land Port has arrived at 400 return trains, an increase of nearly 10 times year-on-year.
