Cambodia's Seven Star Sea, located on the southwest coast of the Duke of Nationalities, is a comprehensive investment and development pilot zone covering an area of ​​360 square kilometers and has a high-quality coastline of 90 kilometers. Since the project was launched in 2008, Qixinghai has received high attention and support from the Cambodian government and was included in the benchmark project of the "Belt and Road" initiative in 2016. Today, it is gradually becoming the core demonstration area of ​​the China-Cambodia Cultural Tourism Year.

On June 28, 2024, Cambodia ushered in the signing ceremony of the new landmark of China-Cambodia friendship - the Cambodia-China Friendship Bodhi Cultural Park. The event was held in Phnom Penh, and the cooperation agreement was signed by the Binhai Urban Development Group and the Cambodian Chinese Buddha Education Society. Lord Feng Lifa, the Kingdom of Cambodia, attended and witnessed this important moment. The project marks a further deepening of China-Cambodia cultural exchanges, aiming to promote cultural consensus and peaceful development among the peoples of the two countries.

After the signing ceremony, the two sides conducted a two-day inspection of the Qixinghai area and determined the project location and preliminary plan. Construction is planned to start in October, and the 20-hectare cultural park will include multiple important components such as the statue of Sakyamuni Buddha, the Seven Buddha Hall of Medicine Buddha, the World Peace Square and the Guanyin statue. The statue of Sakyamuni Buddha is 108 meters high, symbolizing the sacredness of Buddhism; the Seven Buddha Hall of Medicine Buddha is the core of the cultural park, combined with the health and wellness industry; the statue of Mazu will be built in the center of the World Peace Square to integrate Chinese and Cambodia culture; the statue of Guanyin is located at the pier, which is convenient for tourists and believers to visit.

In order to promote project construction, the Preparatory Office has been established to be responsible for the promotion of the cultural park. When introducing the company's basic situation and development history, the representative of Binhai Urban Development Group pointed out that the Qixinghai project has made considerable progress in the construction of tourism facilities and the improvement of supporting services, which makes Qixinghai gradually become a new hot spot for Cambodia's tourism.

At the same time, at the 21st China-ASEAN Expo, Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister Onseviso visited the Seven Star Sea booth of Binhai Urban Development Group and expressed his affirmation of its "Belt and Road" layout and future development direction. He particularly appreciates the development prospects of international airports, industrial parks, education cities and other projects. These projects not only enhance the strategic positioning of Qixinghai, but also help it become a China-Cambodia Economic Corridor and a tourism demonstration site, adding new vitality to the cultural tourism year of the two countries.

In the future, with the help of the ASEAN Expo platform, Qixinghai will communicate with elites from all walks of life through keynote speeches to attract the implementation of high-quality industrial chains and deepen its international cooperation and development potential. All this shows that with the improvement of infrastructure and supporting services, as well as policy support and guarantee, Qixinghai is moving towards becoming an important aviation transportation hub and maritime distribution center for the trade markets of South Asia, Southeast Asia and ASEAN.
