I believe that the Belt and Road Initiative is mainly a political project based on the economy. The goal is to make countries with close economic and trade exchanges with China politically clear willingness or at least not oppose the system of being integrated into China in the future as the core.

Why do I emphasize political rather than economic here? Very simple. Because if we just want to engage in bilateral trade and other economic cooperation, we don’t actually need the name of the Belt and Road Initiative. Just say that we are going to engage in mutually beneficial and win-win economic cooperation. This was the case in the 2000s, and the results were also remarkable.

Listen to the term "Belt and Road", don't you think there is obvious Chinese-centrism in it? This "Belt" and "Road" are the Silk Road and the Economic Belt, which are all discussions in the historical trading system with China as the protagonist. In particular, some countries have never joined these Silk Beltways, but are now willing to recognize this name. For example, many Latin American and African countries. Isn’t this a kind of indulgence to Chinese narrative?

When promoting economic cooperation, we must try to add a big title that emphasizes and accommodates Chinese historical narratives. If this is not political, what is it? I think this matter is actually quite obvious, but I don’t know why no one has pointed it out. I guess some smart people can tell at a glance, but they are embarrassed to say it or dare not. I think this strategy is very correct, and I am talking about it with a complete praise attitude, so I don’t think there is anything I dare not say.

This is how China uses its super economic strength to add "political private goods" to economic and trade exchanges. Of course, this private goods are good, because China's future development direction will definitely be towards the world economy leading by cliff. Then the sooner countries join and adapt to the world's commercial and economic and trade system with China as the core, the easier it is to obtain long-term benefits.

In short, I think the Belt and Road Initiative is a political layout based on the economy with great ambitions and far-reaching ideas. Of course, after the layout is completed, it can give back to the economy from politics, that is, in the trade system with China as its absolute core name, with the Belt and Road Initiative, China will make a global re-layout of productivity and commodity circulation and service trade. By then, a more sustainable international economic system will be shaped.

Finally, let’s talk about when the Belt and Road System will be completed. I think this matter is also very obvious, and it was built when the United States invested in the Communist Party. If the United States has not been in the Communist Party, the construction of the Belt and Road Initiative will be on the way. If the United States can insist on not investing in the Communist Party, then although the system with it as its core is smaller than that with China as its core, it still has considerable weight. As long as there is still an economic system with a large scale that does not focus on China in the world, the historical task of the Belt and Road Initiative will be far from being completed.
