He said: "It is very honored to be invited to attend this event. Türkiye and China are two ancient civilizations, and the deep exchanges between the two countries can be traced back hundreds of years.
The Silk Road in history is an important foundation for bilateral relations. Our ancestors not only communicate with silk, porcelain and Anatolian products, but also share culture, art and technology. The Ottoman Sultan and the Chinese emperor sent envoys to each other and gave each other precious gifts. Today, this spirit of connectivity is being continuously passed on through China's "Belt and Road" initiative and Turkey's "Intermediate Corridor" initiative.
Just a few days ago, during the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit held in Tianjin, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and President Xi Jinping once again emphasized that strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries is of great strategic significance and necessity. Two days ago, the Minister of Health of my country also led a large delegation of 80 enterprises to visit the Science and Technology Park in Haidian District.
Currently, China is Türkiye's largest trading partner in Asia and around the world. Over the past 20 years, the bilateral trade volume between the two countries has increased by nearly 40 times, reaching US$48.3 billion in 2024. In order to balance the huge trade deficit facing Türkiye, we need to fully unleash the potential of the economies of both countries. We sincerely invite more Chinese companies to come and seize the opportunities brought by the Turkish investment-friendly environment.
With its solid infrastructure, a young and dynamic population, a high-quality workforce, and a unique geostrategic position connecting surrounding economies, Turkey deserves to be a natural partner (China).

The four seasons here are distinct and have diverse natural wonders. The tourism industry is known for its high-quality service and is becoming a favored destination for more and more Chinese tourists. ”
