China proposed to "enhance communication and dialogue, and support each other in the modernization path that conforms to its national conditions" and announced that it will take the lead in establishing the "'Global Southern' Think Tank Cooperation Alliance" to inject new impetus into mutual learning between world civilizations.

As a scholar who has long studied Chinese politics and the policy of the Communist Party of China, Nadia Hillimi pointed out in the article that the joint construction of the "Belt and Road" initiative is a model for China's cooperation with global southern countries and third-party market cooperation. By coordinating positions and policies, reaching consensus on regional issues and global challenges, the initiative has enhanced political mutual trust between China and the global southern countries, as well as all countries participating in the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative, thus enhancing the strength of the global southern countries and increasing the international voice of developing countries.
