"85·9" is a unforgettable day for every Baosteel person. On September 15, 1985, the No. 1 blast furnace of Baosteel was put into production, which not only ignited the spark of China's steel industry modernization, but also embarked on the struggle for Baosteel people to continuously learn and innovate and strive to become the first-class. On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of Baosteel's production, Baosteel Co., Ltd. has held a thematic symposium to carry forward the enterprise spirit, unite its efforts to accelerate the construction of world-class enterprises, and contribute more powerful steel power to the Chinese-style modernization construction.

At the symposium, Hu Wangming, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Baowu, encouraged the cadres and employees of Baosteel Co., Ltd. to jointly create a better tomorrow for Baosteel, and make new and greater contributions to the development of China's steel industry and the realization of Chinese modernization.
