On October 13, as a freight train carrying 55 40-foot containers departed from Tianjin Container Center Station, the Tianjin Central Asia train via Horgostu was scheduled to make its debut. The train will leave the country through Horgos Port and arrive in Almaty, Kazakhstan 10 days later. In the later period, the train will be operated on a regular basis with a frequency of one train per week to better serve the economic and trade exchanges between northern my country and SCO countries.

At the beginning of this year, Tianjin was successfully approved as a staging center for China-Europe freight trains in the North China region, injecting new impetus into the high-quality development of China-Europe (Asia) freight trains. On the basis of consolidating the status of the Tianjin Port China Land Bridge as the main transport channel and the normal operation of the China-Mongolia-Russia train, the planned opening of the Central Asia train will further play a beneficial and complementary role in the development of seaport cities by cross-border railway transportation, provide safe, stable and efficient logistics services for the "going out" of "Made in China" products in Tianjin and the hinterland of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, and create a rail-water intermodal international logistics channel connecting Northeast Asia and Central Asia.

In order to ensure the smooth operation of the train, the Beijing Branch of China Railway Container Company assisted in the preparation of the Intermodal Waybill and domestic and overseas railway transportation guidance in advance according to the train schedule; Tianjin Container Center Station coordinated the deployment of empty car bottoms, loading and unloading equipment and operating personnel in advance to ensure sufficient transportation resources, and arranged business backbones to monitor and control the container safety inspection, loading reinforcement and other aspects throughout the process to build a secure barrier for the train transportation.

In recent years, China-Europe freight trains have gradually become an important starting point for promoting the construction of the “Belt and Road”. In the future, the Tianjin China-Europe (Asia) train will steadily expand transportation routes, increase the frequency of operations, gradually create new logistics channels for economic and trade exchanges between more "Belt and Road" countries in Central Europe and Central Asia, and continue to make new contributions to building an important strategic pivot for China Unicom's domestic and international dual circulation.
