These projects cover China's business contracts, framework agreements, strategic cooperation agreements in the fields of African contracting projects and engineering-related investment, etc., involving infrastructure cooperation in transportation, energy, communications, water conservancy, industry and agriculture in many African countries such as Ethiopia, Angola, Nigeria, Ghana, Côte d'Ivoire, Kenya, Uganda, Morocco, South Africa, Guinea, Togo, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

It is reported that since the joint construction of the "Belt and Road" initiative was proposed, Chinese-funded enterprises have participated in the construction of African infrastructure in depth, and have participated in the construction and transformation of more than 10,000 kilometers of railways, nearly 100,000 kilometers of highways, nearly 100,000 bridges, nearly 100 ports in Africa, and have laid more than 200,000 kilometers of power and communication networks.

As China-Africa economic and trade cooperation becomes increasingly close, China-Africa infrastructure construction cooperation is extending from traditional transportation and energy projects to new areas such as digital infrastructure and ecological engineering. In the green development project of the Ethiopian river bank, China Communications Construction Group Co., Ltd. transformed the polluted river channel with piles of garbage into the most complete and largest urban comprehensive square in Africa, becoming a model of local ecological restoration.

At the event, representatives from African countries actively sought infrastructure cooperation.
